Solutions:

Question 1:

Sol:- Number of cars sold by Maruthi = 40/100 x 19200 = 7680

Answer: Choice 1

Question 2:

Revenue of Hundai = (17/100)(384)(107)
Revenue of BMW = (13/100)(384)(107)
Required difference = (17/100)(384)(107) - (13/100)(384)(107)
                              =  4/100 x 384 x 107
                              = 1536 x 105
                             = 15.36 x 107

Ans: Choice 4

Question 3:

Selling Price of Toyota = (40% of 384 x 107)/22% of 19200

Selling price of BMW = (13% of 384 x 107)/ 18% of 19200

Required ratio = (40% of 384 x 107)/(22% of 19200) : (13% of 384 x 107)/(18% of 19200)

                       = (40/22) : (13/18) = 360 : 143

Ans:- Choice 4

Question 4:

Let the average cost of each car in 2012 be Rs. X

Average cost of each car in 2013 = 1.2 X

Number of cars sold in 2012 = 80% of 384/X
                                            = 307.2/X

Number of cars sold in 2013 = 384/1.2X
                                            = 320/X

                                          307.2/X
 Required percentage = -----------x 100%
                                          320/X

                                 =  96%
Ans:- Choice 2

Question 5:

Required angle = (30/100)x 360º
                       = 108º

Ans:- Choice 2
