UPSC Indian Forest Services Exam Notification 2014


Union Public Service Commision will hold a Test for Indian Forest Service Examination 2014 through Civil Services(Prelims) Approximately 85 vacancies in Forest Department. Eligible Candidates can apply through Civil Services Preliminary Exam.

Date of Preliminary Exam : 24/08/2014.

Date of  Main Exam : Will be November 2014

Total Number of Vacancies: 85.

Education Qualification:

Candidates should pass Degree with at least one of the subject nemely Animal Husbandry &  Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics & zoology or a Bachelor degree in Agriculture, Forestry.

Age:

Candidates age should between 21 to 32. Age relaxation applicable as per govt rules.

Selection Process:

The exam has two stages, Civil Services Preliminary(Objective type) Exam for screening, and final selection through Indian Forest (main) Examination (Written& Interview).

Application Fee:

100/- Rs For General and OBC Candidates

No Fee for Women/SC/ST Candidates

Candidates can apply online through UPSC web site www.upsconline.nic.in for Indian Forest Service Examination From 31/05/2014 to 30/06/2014.
